Much of our practice deals with testing lung functions, endoscoping bronchial airways and prescribing mechanical assistance to ventilation. We also treat pneumonia, pleurisy, lung carcinoma, occupational diseases, bronchitis, sleep disorders, emphysema and all other aspects of the specialty of Pulmonary Medicine. In the allergy field we provide care for hay fever, asthma, eczema, sinus disease, headaches, food allergy, hives, latex allergy, stinging insect allergy, contact dermatitis, immune disorders, and allergic emergencies.”

Dr. Barry Tillman received a BA from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN in 1977. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis MO in 1981. He completed his internship and a residency in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt (1984). Between 1984 and 1986 he was a Clinical Fellow, then a Research Fellow in Pulmonary Medicine at Vanderbilt. In addition he served as Chief Resident of the school's VA Medical Center in 1985-86.

Dr. Tillman has had numerous articles published in professional journals,- including, The Journal of the Tennessee Medical Association, The Journal of Applied Physiology, Medicine, & The Journal of Urology After returning to his home in Natchez, MS to go into private practice with Tillman Medical Group, Dr. Tillman served as Medical Director - CoLin College of Respiratory Therapy Training Program.
